Absolutely! This competition is designed for creators of all levels. The organizers provide complete Blender scene packages for the School Group, allowing students to simply color objects and use copyright-free models to enrich their scenes, then complete their final work using AI tools and editing software.

No, each participant may only choose one group. If you are 15 years old, you may freely choose to participate in either the School Group or Creative Group.

The School Group is open to students worldwide. If participating as a team, all team members must come from the same school.
The Creative Group is open to creators worldwide. Participants may enter individually or as a team; team members may come from different cities, regions or countries.

This competition is free to enter. Eligible students and creators from around the world are welcome to register.

School Group participants must submit the School Participation Consent Form. If the participant is under the age of 18, a Student Media Consent Form signed by a parent / guardian must also be submitted.
Creative Group participants must submit the Media Consent Form. If the participant is under the age of 18, the relevant consent form must be signed by a parent / guardian.

All documents may be completed and submitted by schools, parents or guardians from different countries or regions according to the stated requirements.

Yes. The Origin CG International Creativity Competition 2026 is open worldwide. Students and creators who meet the age, group and submission requirements are welcome to register.

Yes. The School Group is open to primary and secondary school students worldwide. Team participants must come from the same school and submit the School Participation Consent Form and relevant authorization documents as required.

The organizer will mainly assess eligibility based on the participant’s age and current student status. In general, participants aged 9–18 who are receiving full-time primary or secondary education may register for the School Group.

Yes. Students from international schools, private schools, online schools or equivalent educational institutions may participate, provided they can submit valid proof of enrolment or school confirmation.

If a participant is unable to provide standard school documents, please contact the organizer before registration and explain the situation. The organizer will review the participant’s age, learning status and supporting information on a case-by-case basis.

In general, team member changes may be requested before the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, any change must be submitted to the organizer with a valid reason and is subject to approval. Changing team members without approval may affect eligibility.

Each member must submit the appropriate consent form according to their age. Members under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or legal guardian; members aged 18 or above must sign the form themselves.

Yes. The participant’s name should match the name they wish to display on the certificate, winner list and public showcase materials. Please carefully check spelling, capitalization and English name format before submission.

You may contact the organizer to request changes before the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, the organizer may not be able to guarantee that all information can be changed, especially if the materials have already entered the judging, certificate production or public display stage.

Please provide a complete phone number with the country or region code, such as "+852", "+86" or "+44", so that the organizer can contact you if necessary.

Please first check your spam folder, promotions folder or school email filtering system. If you still cannot find it, please contact the organizer using the email address provided during registration and include the participant’s name and competition group.

Yes. However, the registration information must be true and complete, and consent must be obtained from the participant and their parent/ guardian where applicable. For team registration, all members should also be informed of and agree to the competition rules.

You must use Blender for modeling and rendering. AI video tools and editing software can be chosen freely according to your personal workflow.

Yes. When filling out the online form, you must provide the names of AI tools used and 1-3 representative prompts for judging reference.

Yes. Before submission, participants should use Blender’s packing function or organize a complete project folder to ensure that models, textures, materials, lighting and camera settings can be opened and checked properly.

Participants are advised to submit the final video in MP4 format using a common video codec to ensure that judges can play it properly. The video should be clear and smooth, and excessive compression that significantly reduces visual quality should be avoided.

No. Participants do not need to submit every prompt. However, they must provide 1–3 representative prompts, together with the names and purposes of the AI tools used. The organizer may request additional creative process records if necessary.

School Group entries should focus on positive themes, such as friendship, teamwork, courage, adventure, dreams and growth.
Creative Group participants may freely develop their own style and story direction. However, all entries must not contain hatred, discrimination, explicit sexual content, excessive violence, horror or gore, illegal content, political propaganda, or any content that may violate the laws of the participant’s location or the competition rules.

Yes. Entries may be created in different languages. If the work includes dialogue, narration or a large amount of text, Chinese or English subtitles are recommended to help the judges understand the content.

Yes. A work may tell its story through visuals, action, music, sound effects, rhythm and visual storytelling. Dialogue is not required.

It is recommended that subtitles be embedded in the final video to avoid missing subtitle files or incompatible formats affecting the judging process.

Yes, but such themes must be presented in a respectful, accurate and responsible manner. Works must not belittle, offend, discriminate against or stereotype any culture, ethnic group, religion, nationality, gender or identity group.

It is not recommended to use the work for political propaganda, incitement, attack or content likely to cause controversy. If the work involves public issues, it should be handled from an educational, artistic or narrative perspective, and must avoid violating the laws of the participant’s location or the competition rules.

You may re-upload before the deadline (the system will retain the latest version). No supplementary submissions or modifications are allowed after the deadline, so participants are advised to submit early to allow time for technical issues.

Please use compression tools to reduce file size.

Prizes, trophies and certificates will be distributed primarily at the award ceremony. Participants who are unable to attend must contact the organizer within 7 days before or after the ceremony to arrange collection or delivery.

Participants who fail to contact the organizer within the specified period to arrange collection will be deemed to have forfeited the relevant physical prizes.

The organizer reserves the right to disqualify a participant under the following circumstances:
• The registration information is false, or the participant’s identity information does not match the selected competition group
• Required supporting documents or authorization documents are not submitted
• The entry contains prohibited or non-compliant content
• The entry infringes third-party copyright, portrait rights, trademark rights or other rights
• The entry is not the participant’s original work, or the main content was completed by another person on behalf of the participant
• The entry has previously won an award in another competition or has been publicly released for commercial purposes
• The participant transfers their entry slot or replaces the registered participant after registration

Yes. Winners who cannot attend in person must follow the organizer’s instructions and confirm prize collection, certificate and delivery arrangements within the specified period.

Digital certificates may be issued online. If physical prizes, trophies or certificates require local, cross-border or international delivery, the winner will be responsible for the relevant shipping fees, customs duties, clearance fees or other logistics costs. Specific arrangements will be announced separately by the organizer.

A digital certificate can be issued and stored online. A physical certificate or trophy will be distributed at the award ceremony or through a later collection / delivery process arranged by the organizer.

If incorrect certificate information is caused by errors in the participant’s submitted information, the organizer may not reissue the certificate free of charge. Participants should carefully check their name, school and team information before registration and submission.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse display, request modifications, disqualify the participant or withdraw an award. Even if the work has already been submitted or awarded, the organizer may still take appropriate action if a violation is later discovered.

In general, late submissions after the deadline will not be accepted. Participants should allow sufficient time for uploading and avoid submission issues caused by network conditions, devices, platform traffic or time zone differences.

All deadlines are based on Hong Kong Time, GMT+8. Overseas participants should convert the deadline to their local time and are advised to complete submission at least one day in advance.

Please immediately take screenshots and keep records of the error message, time, file name and actions taken, then contact the organizer by email as soon as possible. The organizer will determine whether an alternative submission method is necessary based on the actual situation.

The organizer may issue notices through the registration email, official website, social media or other designated channels. Participants are responsible for checking relevant notices regularly.
