Work Requirements

The work must be created around the theme of "Our Aerospace Dream" and include elements related to the theme, such as spaceships, astronaut flights, lunar exploration missions, space laboratories, satellite launches, space exploration scenes, etc., to reflect China’s aerospace technology development and achievements.

Submission Method

Upload works through the official website of the China Children’s CG Animation Showcase Event.

Deadline

All works must be submitted before the specified deadline, which is on or before 23:59 on October 31, 2024. Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.

Contents of Submission

Format
Animation works must be produced using Blender software.
Design Details
The beginning of video must include the participant’s group (open group or school group), name (individual or team member name), and title of the work.
The video should be end with a brief acknowledgment.
Note that the overall style and color should be consistent with the theme.
Technical Standards
The video length is 1-2 minutes and is suitable for all age groups in the open group and school group
Output Setting
Settings in Blender:
  • Landscape
  • 1920p x 1080p resolution is recommended
  • Higher resolutions are acceptable, including 3840p x 2160p, but be aware of rendering times
  • Only accept MP4 and AVI format, other formats will not be accepted

    The Blender file submitted for the main elements must be in .blend format, other formats will not be accepted.
    Types
    Submit Blender files of main elements, such as key models, animation settings, etc., so that the jury can check the technical details.

    Event Rules

    Eligibility and Admission

    1. Participant must reside in China and be 9-18 years old during the school year starting in September 2023.
    2. Participating schools need to pay a certain admission fee to support the organization and operation of talent display activities.
    3. The person in charge of the school must upload a copy of the school certification document with the school seal when admission, otherwise the qualification will not be recognized.
    4. Once the admission form is submitted, there will be no refunds, name changes, transfers or exchanges of participants for any reason.
    5. If a participant fails to meet the admission requirements or incorrectly reports his/her age, the participant will be disqualified and the admission fee paid will not be refunded.

    Rules and Responsibilities

    1. If a school team needs to withdraw from the event due to special reasons, it should submit a formal withdrawal application to the organizing committee within the specified time, but the admissioin fee will not be refunded.
    2. The personal information provided by the school team when participating in the talent show event will only be used for matters related to the talent show event, and the organizer will take measures to ensure the security and privacy of the information.
    3. The copyright of the entries belongs to the author, but the organizer has the right to use the entries for non-commercial purposes for display and promotion activities, including but not limited to publications, press releases, websites, and public exhibitions, without requiring the participant’s consent or payment of any fees, and reserves the right to use the entries the final decision.
    4. If the work is found to be plagiarized or infringed, the participant will be immediately disqualified and may face legal action.

    Support and Review

    1. The organizer will provide online training resources and technical support. Participants can inquire about issues related to the talent display event through official channels.
    2. All awards will be determined by the judges of the Association. The number of winners and awards in each category may change based on the actual level of entries in each category. The Association reserves the right to make the final decision.

    Activity Adjustments and Force Majeure

    1. The organizing committee has the right to make reasonable adjustments to the rules, procedures, time, etc. during the talent show, and will notify participating schools in a timely manner. Schools need to confirm their acceptance of these changes when admission.
    2. The organizer and organizing committee are not responsible for the losses of participating school teams due to force majeure and other reasons, such as natural disasters, political events, etc.

    Final Decision and Compliance with Rules

    1. The organizer reserves the right to make the final decision on the rules of the talent show event. If there are any changes, the organizer will promptly notify you through official channels.
    2. Once a participant submits the admission form, it is equivalent to accepting the above rules, terms and conditions. If the Association believes that there is any violation of the relevant rules and terms of this event, the Association reserves the right to disqualify the applicant from participating and winning at any time.
