Vision
To support the open-source digital tools ecosystem and promote industry-education collaboration in creative fields, CGGE and Krystal Institute present the 3rd Origin CG International Creativity Competition.
"The cube is the purest creative starting point. Whether building characters and worlds from cubes or exploring style and rhythm through cubic forms, simple geometry holds infinite possibilities."
This competition uses "Blender + AIGC creation" to allow participants to:
Generate a video with AI tools to tell a story
Explore the new model of "AI-powered art education"

When submitting entries on the online platform, each category must upload a compressed file and fill in the form with the creative concept, story outline, AI tools used, and key prompts.
The compressed file should contain three types of files: the Blender scene file, rendered images, and the final video. For the relevant formats, please refer: Submission Specifications.

Important Notes
- Once registration is submitted, no cancellations, transfers, or participant substitutions will be allowed under any circumstances.
- If registration information is found to be false, submitted to the wrong group, or does not meet the age requirements, the organizers will disqualify the participant without prior notice.
- A participant cannot participate in both the student group and the open group simultaneously.
- Works previously awarded in other image competitions are not eligible to participate.
2025 Awards Ceremony Highlights
The 2025 awards ceremony was successfully held at the Blender Conference Shenzhen & International AI and Creativity Conference (BCON Shenzhen & IAICC), with awards presented in person by heavyweight guests from the international animation and open-source communities.
