Registration Details

Eligibility and Categories

The talent showcase competition is divided into two main groups: School Group and Open Group.

The School Group includes Senior Primary and Secondary groups. Senior Primary Group participants must be 9-12 years old, while Secondary Group participants must be 13-18 years old. School Group participants must be from registered schools in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, or Macau SAR. Teams should consist of 2-5 students from the same school and can include students from different grades, provided they meet the age requirements.

The Open Group uses an individual participation format, suitable for anyone interested in 3D creation (including primary, secondary, and post-secondary students). Participants under 18 years old must have parent/guardian signed consent for validity.

There are two participation categories: 3D Animation and 3D Modelling*. Participants can choose one category based on their interests and expertise.

Registration Period

March 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025

Schools Group must download and complete the designated registration form from the showcase homepage, providing school information, team member details, supervising teachers, and other essential information to confirm official participation eligibility.

Registration Fee

This showcase competition is completely free. No registration fees are required for any participants or teams.

To help participants get started with Blender 3D, we are offering a free 2-hour Blender Online Course. Once registered, you will receive an account to access the course and quickly begin your 3D creation journey.

2025 3D Creative Talent Exhibition, themed 'Chinese Culture', invites creators worldwide to utilize 3D technology in presenting modern interpretations and innovative imaginings of Chinese culture. We look forward to witnessing dialogues between tradition and modernity, and the perfect fusion of cultural essence with technological expression.

Here, your creation is more than just a work - it's the manifestation of a story, the expression of emotion, and the inheritance of thought. Through digital technology, we breathe new life into traditional culture, creating cross-generational cultural dialogues.

  • *Participants may freely enter either the 3D Animation or 3D Modelling competition category. However, each participant or team is eligible to receive only one award.

Submission Method and Deadline

Log in to the official website of the talent showcase competition to upload your work.

All entries must be submitted by the stated deadline on or before 23:59 on October 31, 2025. Submissions beyond the deadline will not be accepted.

Contents of Submission

3D Animation Category emphasizes complete dynamic visual storytelling, where participants must create a 30-second to 2-minute piece demonstrating engaging narrative content, distinctive character design, and professional-level animation techniques.

Submission Guidelines

Technical Standards

  • Completed 3D model scene files (.blend format)
  • A completed animation video (duration 30 seconds to 2 minutes)
  • Animation requirements: Minimum 1080P resolution, 24fps frame rate, H.264 encoding, in MOV or AVI format
  • All submitted videos must display the event logo for at least 3 seconds at the end (logo available for download

Condition of Entry

  • All submissions must be original work and must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Participant names and school identifications must not appear on any submitted works, no registered trademarks or logos may be displayed in the designs
  • AI technology may be used for background design (must specify the AI software used)
  • Optional: Written documentation explaining the creative concept (no word limit)
  • Submissions must be new and original - works that have previously won awards in China or overseas design events are not eligible

3D Modelling Category focuses on character and scene design, where participants demonstrate their advanced 3D modelling skills through their creative works.

  • Three rendered images from different angles (including clear front and side views of the character)
  • Image requirements: A3 size, 300dpi, or 4096x2160 pixels in JPEG format

Event Rules and Regulations

  1. Eligibility and Registration
    1. The School Group is open to full-time primary and secondary school students from registered schools in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and Macau SAR. All participants must reside in China and be aged 9 to 18 during the 2024–2025 academic year. Participation is in team format only.
    2. A school representative must upload a copy of an official document with the school’s stamp during registration. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
    3. The Open Group is open to individuals residing in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, or Macau SAR. Team entries are not permitted in this group. Participants under 18 must have signed parent/guardian consent for validity.
    4. Once registration is submitted, no cancellations, transfers, or participant substitutions will be allowed under any circumstances.
    5. If registration information is found to be false, submitted to the wrong category, or does not meet the age requirements, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant without prior notice.
  2. Participation Rules and Responsibilities
    1. Participants from both the School and Open groups who need to withdraw due to special circumstances must submit a formal withdrawal request via email to the organizers within the specified timeframe.
    2. All personal information collected during registration or participation will be used solely for event-related purposes. The organizers will handle all data in accordance with privacy protection policies.
    3. All participants must ensure that their submissions are original works and that they are the sole copyright holders.
    4. While participants retain ownership of their submitted works, the organizers reserve the right to use entries for non-commercial promotional purposes, including but not limited to publications, press releases, websites, and exhibitions, without seeking additional consent or offering compensation. The organizers reserve the final right to determine whether a submission will be used.
    5. Any work found to involve plagiarism or infringement will result in immediate disqualification, and the organizers reserve the right to pursue legal action.
  3. Support and Judging
    1. The organizers will provide online training resources and technical support. Participants may contact the organizers via official channels for any competition-related inquiries.
    2. All awards will be determined by a professional judging panel appointed by the organizers, and all results will be final.
    3. The number and types of awards in each category may be adjusted according to the actual number and quality of submissions. The organizers reserve the final right of decision.
  4. Event Adjustments and Force Majeure
    1. The organizers reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to the rules, procedures, and schedules of the competition as needed. All updates will be announced through official channels.
    2. The organizers shall not be held responsible for any losses caused by force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, or political events.
  5. Terms and Conditions
    1. The organizers reserve the right to use selected designs and submissions for promotion, exhibition, and printing purposes.
    2. The organizers reserve the final interpretation, modification, suspension, or cancellation rights related to the competition without prior notice.
    3. By submitting the registration form, all participants (School and Open Groups) are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted all competition rules and terms.
    4. If any participant is found to have violated these rules or terms, the organizers reserve the right to cancel their eligibility and revoke any awards, and may pursue further actions if necessary.
